P90 No More

Saturday Run:
 
Wing Chun Run for Fun at Carter Rd Bike Trail  - The only reason I never ran this trail before was because I thought it was strictly for biking. I was wrong, and it is a LOT better for conditioning for a mud run, namely because there actually is mud, and a LOT of hills. The hills also brought up the question that since I could hardly run the trail, how the hell are people riding their bikes through it? Especially when some of the trails are blocked by giant logs? You’ll see what I mean in the video I shot below, which if nothing else I got some really awesome footage, especially on an actual obstacle they had on the trail.



P90 No More

            After much reluctance and fighting the facts (aka being my normal stubborn self), I’ve decided I’d rather not risk permanently injuring myself all in order to have the ability to do monkey bars. I would rather aim to eventually do them in tough mudder so I will cease P90x for now and attempt it again once my injury is fully healed which hopefully will not take that long. Until then I will just bastardize what I have learned from the program thus far and do the workouts that don’t involve me risking more injury to my right arm. Sure I may fall off more obstacles now, but from what I’ve learned I’ve apparently gained quite a bit of endurance for running long distances, so I can make up for it there.
